Have you ever been to the Youth Hostel International (HI) in Washington? It is CLOSE to the mall and the metro, has a kitchen, free breakfast, internet, and is affordable:
prices depend on the room you get, between I think $30 for a dorm bed and $90 for a double bedroom…

That’s great! JavaScript makes an excellent starting language, you don’t need any special tools or compilers, just a text editor and a web browser. There’s a lot of good tutorials out there, it’s best to pick one that matches your level of experience.

This can be very difficult to learn and very difficult to teach to other people on your team, but can make or break a project (personal, work related, or otherwise).
